Mark Bullen

Dr. Mark Bullen is an adjunct Professor in the Master of Educational Technology (MET) program at the University of British Columbia. He was centrally involved in the development of the MET in 2002 and has been teaching Planning & Managing Technologies in Higher Education (ETEC 520) since then.

For over 30 years he held a variety of educational technology positions in higher education including Dean of the Learning & Teaching Centre at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Associate and Acting Director of the Distance Education & Technology department and Director of the Centre for Managing & Planning E-Learning (MAPLE) at UBC.

He was also Education Specialist for eLearning at the Commonwealth of Learning, an intergovernmental organization that assists developing Commonwealth countries improve their educational systems by using open and flexible distance learning approaches. He can be contacted at mark.bullen@ubc.ca
