Want to write about libraries and librarianship?
InsideOCULA is looking for its very first writer-in-residence for a four-month term starting this spring. Writing about issues relevant to members of OCULA (the college and university division of OLA), the writer-in-residence will contribute at least one brief article or post per month to the new, online version of the newsletter. This volunteer position is an opportunity to expand your writing and web publishing experience within a collaborative environment.
This position is open to all OCULA members in good standing, including student members. Those interested can send a one-page letter including your name, job title, one great story idea, one link to a writing sample and a bit about why you want to be a writer-in-residence to InsideOCULA deputy editor Carey Toane at insideocula@accessola.com.
