Jennifer Browning

Jennifer Browning is the Acting Associate University Librarian for Collection Services at Carleton University’s MacOdrum Library. She previously served as Head of Cataloguing, Metadata, and Digitization. As the inaugural Researcher‑in‑Residence for North/Nord, Jennifer is examining the sustainability of shared print programs and how metadata and technology shape shared print collaboration. Her professional interests include metadata systems and their impact on user communities, continuous learning for library staff, and collaboration as a strategic practice in libraries. She holds a Master of Library and Information Studies from Western University and an honours BA in English from Carleton University.
