Aaron Lupton
Aaron Lupton is a Content Development and Analysis Librarian within the newly reconfigured York University Libraries (YUL). Previously he was the Electronic Resources Librarian at York. He is responsible for a range of activities related to the analysis, management, and licensing of YUL’s collection resources, including establishing and reviewing guidelines for licensing and platform preferences that reflect the needs of the campus community. He is the York representative for the Ontario consortia OCUL and the Canadian national consortia CRKN, with a focus on licensing and acquisitions work, and is the primary contact with all eResource vendors at the university. Since the retirement of YUL’s long-time film librarian Kathy Elder, he has been aiding with streaming video licensing for departments across the institution.
