David C. Jackson
David C. Jackson, Teaching and Learning Librarian, works at Carleton University’s MacOdrum Library. He received his MLIS and PhD in Media Studies from Western University (2008 and 2016) and is an instructor at Carleton’s Department of Communications and Media Studies where he teaches courses on screen culture, media piracy, and histories of communication and information. His current research explores curriculum development and design, pedagogical spaces, and teaching as a creative community of practice. He is also interested in historical and conceptual experimental audio-visual media and their relationship to, affect, poetics, and aesthetics.
