David Gerstle

David S. Gerstle is Reference and Instruction Librarian at University of Toronto Mississauga. He has most recently participated in the research project, “Promoting Digital Literacy in the Community through Public Library and Local Community Training Initiatives”, funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.  Two co-authored publications from this research are forthcoming in Library Quarterly. As an academic librarian, David is concerned with critical thinking on the production and reception of authoritative information, particularly in science and technology.
