David Gerstle

David S. Gerstle is Research Services and Liaison Librarian at University of Toronto Mississauga. He provides library support for teaching and research in several UTM health and social science departments. He is supporting librarian for the UTM partnership with the Novo Nordisk Network of Healthy Populations, a community-researcher initiative to study and address health inequities in Mississauga and surrounding cities. As an academic librarian, David is concerned with critical thinking on the production and reception of authoritative health information, as it is shaped by national rhetoric and power dynamics.
