Helen Salmon
Helen Salmon is a Collections Librarian at the University of Guelph Library, with selection responsibilities for the Humanities and Media Resources. Helen has worked as an academic librarian for the past thirty-six years and has held a variety of librarian and management positions in the areas of reference, information services, and collections. Her research activities have included editing and bibliographical work, reviewing young adult literature, contributing to various reference works in film studies and the social sciences and humanities, and presentations on academic library management and organizational culture, collections budgeting, the role of library collections in student development and wellness initiatives, and the use of library internships to support collections work.
