Librarians, as educators and innovators, are uniquely placed to foster access points and tools to meet users wherever their research skills and digital competencies are, as well as access digital spaces successfully.
Good tidings from Ontario libraries
Lights, action, baubles and bells … the holidays are a time when we decorate to celebrate. Here’s a taste of some of the ways that library staff are making their libraries festive for patrons (and themselves).
The first video (on the left) features photos from two school libraries and two university libraries courtesy of regular Open Shelf contributors Jennifer Brown, Jennifer Dekker, and Kasey (Mallen) Whalley as well as InsideOCULA co-editor-in-chief Rob Makinson. Building a holiday book tree comes to us courtesy of Mike Reynolds at the Carleton University Library.
We are happy to add more images to the “Good tidings” slide show—if we receive them by December 20.
